Welcome to MyQosmos. Discover the ultimate digital space to organize, save, and share your favorite maxims, while building a global community of readers.

1. Profile, Account & Appearance

• Personal Avatar & Username: In the top left corner, by tapping your profile icon, you can choose your own Avatar and set your personal Username. This name will automatically accompany you on exported posters, PDF lists, and in all your activity on the Qosmos Feed.
• Appearance Customization: Through the same settings menu, you can choose the display mode that suits you best: Light, Dark, or Auto mode, depending on your device's general settings.
• Guides & Videos (YouTube): Get direct access to our official YouTube channel right from within the app to discover user guides, tips, and new videos.
• Account Management: You have the option to instantly Sign Out for a secure account change or switch.

2. Language Selection & Absolute Privacy

• International Support: By tapping the globe icon, you can choose the app's interface from 13 global languages.
• Local Management (No Cloud): The app is built with absolute data protection in mind. We do not store any of your library information on external servers. You have the complete freedom to import or export your entire library directly from one mobile device to another, keeping your data 100% private.

3. Add Book & Reading Status

• Complete Entry & Smart Scanning: By tapping the "+" button on the top right, you add a new book. You can save the front cover and back cover by selecting photos from your gallery, or by using the new built-in camera scanner that automatically detects the book's edges and crops the background for a perfect result.
• Progress Status: Each book can be accurately categorized based on the stage it is in: Upcoming (for future reading), Reading (for current books), or Completed.
• Reading Time & Review: For completed books, the start and end dates are recorded to automatically calculate the reading time, while the Personal Review field is displayed at the beginning of your maxims and in exports.

4. Overview, Search & Advanced Filters

• Total Book Count: At the top of the screen, the exact total number of books that make up your library is always displayed.
• Smart Search & Pinning: Instantly locate any book by typing its title or author. You can now also "pin" your favorite books or current reads to the top of the list for instant access.
• Advanced Filtering & Sorting: You can organize and filter your library combinatorially, based on:
  • The page count, with the ability to sort in ascending or descending order.
  • The reading start date.
  • The total duration in days it took to complete.
  • The total number of maxims you have collected.
  • Its current status (Upcoming / Reading / Completed).

5. Independent Wishlist

Plan your next purchases in the dedicated Wishlist section. This list now operates completely independently (outside the main Qosmos), keeping your actual collection perfectly clear. It features an integrated Google Books search, allowing you to easily find and add the books you want to acquire in the future.

6. Maxims & Export Options

• Entering Maxims: By selecting a book, you can add your favorite maxims using the "+" button. Filling in the page number is mandatory, as this automatically sorts the maxims hierarchically within the book. For each entry, you have the option to share it, as well as delete and rewrite it.
• Export to Poster: Creates an elegant image with a selectable background color, which includes the maxim, your username, and your personal note.
• Complete PDF-List: Creates a comprehensive digital document gathering all the maxims of the book. The first page includes the title, author, and your personal review, while the subsequent pages list all your maxims sorted by book page.

7. Global Community: Qosmos Feed

The Qosmos Feed is the interactive space where a love for reading meets the global community:

• Interaction: You can Like and Share other users' posts, sharing the inspiration.
• Personalized Feed: You can filter the feed at any time, choosing to view only the posts you have Liked or only posts from a specific user.
• Quick Save: If you spot a book that interests you in the feed, a long press on it automatically saves it directly to your Wishlist.
• Smart Translation: Because inspiration knows no borders, there is an option to translate posts into the 13 supported languages. Additionally, for maxims written in a language different from your app's language, a stable English translation is provided, ensuring all users worldwide can communicate seamlessly.
• Safety & Content Control: To maintain a healthy and high-quality environment, you have full control tools at your disposal. You can Report or Delete posts, as well as Block or Unblock specific users.
